Biography
Prof (Dr) Baskaran Mani is the Director, glaucoma services; Deputy Director, Research in Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, formerly a Clinician Scientist at Singapore Eye Research Institute/Singapore National Eye Centre. He has more than 300 international publications, 8 book chapters and 6 co-patents in the field of glaucoma. He trained several PGS and fellows, PhD, Mphil and MOptom students. He was involved in 4 major epidemiological surveys and several RCTs. His current research focus involves diagnosis and surgical management of angle closure in Asia, MIGS, clinical genetics, clinical trials and software algorithms in anterior segment imaging.
